Experience

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2007, and over my career I have constantly pursued additional training and knowledge to both develop my skills and keep up to date.

I have chaired a national Clinical Excellence Network supported by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, where therapists from across the UK collaborate to promote professional development and improve patient care. I have also appeared on local TV and radio to discuss the importance of support for communication needs.

About bit about Me

I’m someone who is happiest when life is full of good food, family, fresh air and a little bit of adventure. I love decorating (and eating!) cakes, exploring new places and most of all, I love being a Mum to my two young boys.

The most rewarding part of my work is supporting children and young people to develop their connection with others and grow their communication skills in whatever form that takes for them. I love creating child led sessions where their interests guide the learning and make therapy sessions lot of fun.
